Join the Photos4Purpose Storytelling Team!
Do you love meeting new people? Have a camera or smartphone? Want to help tell stories that inspire change?
Photos4Purpose is looking for volunteer Community Storytellers to go out into their local neighborhoods, connect with people, and capture their stories through photos, video, and short interviews.
What you’ll do:
- ✨ Approach people in your community (parks, markets, events, etc.)
- ✨ Ask simple, meaningful interview questions (we provide them!)
- ✨ Take 1–3 portraits or short video clips
- ✨ Submit the stories to Photos4Purpose so we can share them on our social media platforms and raise awareness
We’ll give you:
- ✅ A “Story Kit” with interview questions, tips, and consent forms
- ✅ Support and guidance from the Photos4Purpose team
- ✅ Opportunities for your work to be featured online and at events
📅 Commitment: Just 2–4 hours a month
📍 Location: Your own community — wherever you feel comfortable
